I have also got some final details confirmed for a flash tutorial session I will be running in Manchester. This is a free session for the Manchester Flickr group but if anyone is interested please drop me a line Im sure we can squeeze a couple of people in.

Wedding wise has seen a great start to 2008 with loads of interest from the recent wedding fairs and the new web site is doing well for us so far this year. Its looking like we are about 55% of the way to our booking target for this year.

Over the next day or so Stephanie and myself are going to be doing a review of last years wedding work, so I will post some more information just as soon as we have done the review.

Just a quick thanks to all the people who have been sending in e-mails. Please keep them coming its great to hear from you all.

Steve, many thanks for taking the time to operate this blog. I am finding it interesting in the main due to the fact I am considering starting a wedding photography business. I am based in London and there seems to be a lot of photographers working down here. How does local competition effect your business.

You seem to be at the top of your game and without one of the top 5 wedding photographers I have come across in the UK. Both my wife Emma and myself just love your work.

We have looked at Damien Lovegrove as a business to aspire to but his wedding work at actual weddings seems very poor of late. Do you advise any other wedding photographers to study in the Uk?
