Wishing You All A Happy & Prosperous New Year

Well 2008 comes to a close and what a year its been for Stephanie and myself. Despite the dismal news of recession and the credit crunch the business has had a great year. Our financial targets have been beaten, we have moved into both new work and home premises, all in all things have gone better than we could have dreamed of.

We photographed 52 weddings in 2008 and 2009 is looking very good, we start the year with just over 50% of our work booked in for the year ahead. Many people say weddings will be booked later and later but we have a steady stream of bookings into 2010 and 2011 and we both have a very good feeling about the wedding business over the next few years.

On the commercial side of the business we have stopped doing any press work and have concentrated on our architectural and industrial photography www.architectural-images.co.uk which again is doing great. Plenty of interesting and rewarding work is coming in from commercial clients and despite what we hear on the news, there seems to be a steady stream of new developments needing good architectural photography.

Manchester At Dusk

On 28th December 2008 we photographed the last wedding of the year at Shaw Hill Golf & Country Club. We were blessed with some great weather and a smashing bride and groom. Below I have posted one of my images from the day. We had such a fantastic sunset and sky just before sunset. One of the great things about winter weddings is the possibility of great sunset shots!!

Anyway we both wish you all a very happy new year and to our clients and fellow wedding professionals we would like to say thanks for your continued support and we hope to see you all in the new year.
