Spent a great day in Manchester on Tuesday with two models and a few keen photographers. What a great way to spend some time.

The weather was kind to us on the day and we managed to capture some great images. I just love the light on this image and the wind blowing the hair just adds to an amazing outdoor feel.

I spent the entire day shooting with the Canon 5D and just three lenses the 24-70mm F2.8 the 70-200mm F2.8 and the incredible 85mm F1.2.

We used some small TTL flash guns on a selection of images and for one location we deployed the superb Bron location flash system with spot focusing unit.

If you would like to see the rest of the images from this shoot just click on the main image in this post.

I hope to be doing many more location portrait shoots in the future as a key part of our business.

Just looked at you other images from this set. What great work. I love each image. I own a Canon 5D but never get this sort of quality. How do you get such great colour in the background, I know this location but were is the green wall?

This is a superb set of images Steve. Not my natural choice of subject, but you have done very well here. Its rare to see a photographer with such a multi disciplined style of work. You really do a lot subject styles very well.
